quiet home was born of transformation and friendship. What began as one woman helping another bring order to her home became something deeper: a shared conviction that an organized home can quiet the soul.
Our work is rooted in this belief: that when clutter is cleared, clarity returns; when rhythms have room, families thrive; and when thoughtful systems take shape, life feels lighter, more grounded, and more joyful — for parents and children alike.
Between us, we’re raising five young children through the changing seasons of family life — school runs and nap windows, after-school activities and family dinners, and everything in between. We know firsthand that homes are always evolving — and that true order is not about perfection, but ease.

Rebecca is a professional organizer who designs calm, restorative homes — spaces that expand capacity rather than deplete it. A lifelong systems thinker with a love of visual-spatial puzzles, she approaches each home as both a creative and organizational challenge: part beauty, part structure, always intentional.
She studied Organizational Studies and French at the University of Michigan, where she first explored the idea of the family and home as living organizations. At Parsons School of Design, and later at fashion houses including Oscar de la Renta, she refined her innate eye for design. Today, she applies that same rigor to home systems.
Rebecca’s philosophy was further refined by her journey healing from chronic illness, and yet again after becoming a mother to two. Both experiences underlined the same truth: that a thoughtfully ordered home can play a vital role in the wellbeing of a family.

Lauren is a public health educator focused on how home environments affect well-being. She holds a Master of Public Health and a Communications degree from the University of Georgia and has led wellness programs in schools, hospitals, and nonprofits for over a decade. Her expertise, including work on a James Beard Award–winning cookbook, supports her belief that well-designed spaces, especially kitchens, shape how we cook, gather, and live.
In 2022, Lauren, her husband, three children, and their rescue dog moved from a five-bedroom house to a three-bedroom Manhattan apartment. The transition was both challenging and transformative. Letting go of excess created more space for what mattered most: connection, presence, and togetherness. She discovered that living with less can open the door to living more fully.
As a Certified Health Education Specialist and Registered Yoga Teacher, Lauren brings a gentle, holistic approach to organizing by helping families create homes that feel lighter, calmer, and aligned with their everyday rhythms.
